It's been a busy time at the Community House and the time has flown since Christmas. Here we are at Easter already and autumn is well and truly making its presence felt.
We have some nice baby and toddler clothes here which have been donated by mums whose little ones are growing so fast their clothes still look new when they've been outgrown. Come and have a look. The weeks fly by and the seniors lunch continues to provide a welcome break for those of a certain age in the community, as well as the chocolate bingo which is really a lot of fun for any adult of any age at all. As with most things there are changes to be made and that may be the case for the running of both of these popular events put on by OCS. All will be revealed in coming weeks.
We are fortunate in the Otamatea region to have escaped most of the damaging effects of the cyclones, but no doubt there are lots of overflowing water tanks around.
